The 2026 School Bond Election has passed with 73.72% support for Prop A and 70.06% support for Prop B.

With strong approval from our community, we are thrilled to move forward with the formal recommendation for a brand-new McCarroll Middle School and infrastructure updates at every school in our district. Thank you to everyone who voted, joined the planning committee, invited us to present, or served in any way. Regardless of how you may have voted, we’re grateful to all for helping shape DISD’s future!

After the DISD Board of Trustees officially canvasses the election, we will launch a community bond oversight committee that’ll help bring the bond vision to life.
